For relative date

One of the most used parameters in life search is dates. This is logical because our whole life revolves around time. What are my tasks for today, when do I have to finish the project, when is my next meeting?
With the recent addition of the calendar view and the refinement of search expressions, we are able to do more and more sophisticated management.
One of the most useful things that I think is a bit overlooked is the FOR RELATIVE DATE search expression.
What do you mean, relative?
The expression "FOR RELATIVE DATE" indicates that the application supports relative date calculations, allowing you to specify dates in relation to the current date. No matter where the search was created.
They are used like any other search expression and currently supported:
- Today
- Tomorrow
- this week
- next week
- this month
- next month
Here are some examples:
FOR RELATIVE DATE TODAY
By using "TODAY" as the reference point, the expression would indicate that the condition or parameter is based on the current day.

Can be used to filter tasks or perform actions relevant to tasks due or scheduled for the current day. This search would help us focus on tasks that require immediate attention or completion.
FOR RELATIVE DATE THIS WEEK
This will find all todo nodes that live on your daily pages for this week... But you could also search for:
- All created this week
- Due date this week
- ...

These expressions can be used for much more than just tasks, and as you will see at the end of this article, they have some interesting advantages.
